Pastor Frank

Seven days without prayer makes one weak.

Discipleship is a Process

We are moving forward to a discipleship emphasis, both in small groups, one-on-one, and family to family.

What Scripture Says:

"And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

-2 Timothy 2:2 NKJV

World Missions Update

Stefanie Dinsbeer, missionary with Christian Life Foundation is planning a trip to China. They will be training students in a “Sex, Love & Dating” course. They will be witnessing to people in a country which is “closed” to the Gospel, and at the same time with people who are hurting due to the recent earthquake. The people are searching for answers, much like people in the U.S. following the 9-11 tragedy.

David Crews, missionary to Canada, requests prayer regarding their search for a permanent location for the church. They have found a building that they feel very strongly the Lord would have them to have, yet, they are in need of $40,000 before they can put an offer on it. Please pray for this need. David is very evangelistic and loves to win souls.

Jonathan Mohler, missionary to Kenya, had to escape from Kenya with his family due to the political uprising in that country. They were able to purchase round-trip tickets for the family to return to the states, but desperately needs to replace the money ($8000.00) to carry on the work in Kenya. They are awaiting a more stable political climate before they can return.

Thomas Gilmer, missionary to the Jews in Brazil, like so many of our missionaries are suffering from the deflated dollar. However, he says it has caused them to be more frugal and to lead the nationals to assume more responsibility for some of the projects. Pray for Jews and Gentiles alike to be saved and an adequate vehicle for ministry.

You, Reaching the World

Don't forget about the responsibility of being a personal witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.  If you don't know what to say, or If you need discipleship in this area, please see Bryan Turner for more details.

then you are not saved yourself, be sure of that."
